How Customer Cleanup Works

Customer Detection (Manual/Automated)

• Input: Select customer roles, set new customer order grace period, set existing dormant customer grace period
• Action: Identify fake and inactive customers that match the criteria
• Result: Accurate list of customers to contact/delete

Reactivation Emails (Manual/Automated)

• Input: Flagged users (fake and inactive customers detected)
• Action: Send custom reactivation emails
• Result: Re-engagement opportunity

Automated Deletion (Manual/Automated)

• Input: Flagged customers that do not place an order
• Action: Delete after time limit set
• Result: Automatic continuous cleanup

Orphaned Metadata Cleanup (Manual/Automated)

• Input: Unused user metadata
• Action: Remove orphaned user meta records
• Result: Reduced user database size

Common Use Cases

1. Removing fake accounts
   • If a customer registers and does not place an order within the time you specify, they will be flagged.
   • Automatically (optional) send flagged customers a custom email inviting them to place their first order within the time period you specify. If the customer does place an order within this time period, their flag is automatically removed.
   • Automatically (optional) delete customers who have not placed an order within the time period you specify.
2. Removing dormant accounts
   • Similar to fake accounts, you can automatically send an email to customers who have not ordered for the number of days you specify, asking them to come back and order again. Optionally, you can also automatically delete dormant users if they do not place an order within the time period you set.
3. Removing orphaned user meta
   • Orphaned user metadata can be detected on demand or during scheduled tasks. Detected orphaned user metadata can then be deleted manually or automatically.
