Is Wuclean safe to use on a live store?
Yes. The default mode is to detect and report findings, leaving Administrators to decide what actions to take. Wuclean will not automatically delete anything you have not specifically set it to delete. Make use of manual scans and deletion until you are comfortable with what Wuclean detects.
Is Wuclean Shared Hosting friendly?
Great care has been taken to run large scans in slow, small, background batches to minimize the impact on shared hosting accounts. This makes the scans slower but safer. Most of the modules allow Administrators to increase batch sizes on servers that can handle faster scans.
Does Wuclean work with other optimization plugins?
Yes — it complements caching and performance plugins like WP Rocket or LiteSpeed Cache by keeping your database lightweight.
Can I schedule cleanups automatically?
Absolutely. The suggested approach is to first perform manual cleanups familiarizing yourself with the plugins functionality. Then automate the featured and functions that you are comfortable with. Each module includes flexible scheduling options with email notifications.
